Off-Site Services

Nova Garden Design, LLC offers a full, custom design service to its off-site design customers. Off-site design entails the following:
Callirhoe involucrata (Poppy Mallow or Winecup)

  1. Assessment of Property and Landscaping Needs
To start work on your landscape design, I need information pertaining to the area you want me to design and your expectations for the new landscape. To this purpose, I ask you to send me a copy of the plot plan of your property. Also, I will ask you to fill out a questionnaire and send me pictures of the site. Upon receiving this information I will contact you to clarify the details and discuss any questions you may have at that point.
  2. Development of Conceptual Designs
Based on this information I will develop two or three conceptual designs. This is a crucial step in the creation of your landscape. Every lot can be designed in many different ways. The conceptual designs show you some of the possibilities and help you decide on features, structures and general layout of a landscape that suits you and that you will enjoy. The conceptual designs along with a brief explanation of the suggested design elements are mailed to you.
  3. Discussion and Selections of Final Plan
Once you have had the opportunity to study the different plans, I will contact you to answer all your questions and elaborate on the different concepts. Sometimes a customer will select one of the conceptual designs and ask me to finalize it without making any changes to the suggested layout or features. Most times however, you will combine elements of the various designs and with my help decide on the final layout of your landscape.
  4. Presentation of Final Plan
Your input and the results of the previous step allow me to develop the final landscape design. The final design will be to scale and provide the layout and measurements of paths, decks, structures and planting beds. Depending on your choice of service, the design will also provide detailed planting schemes and/or the names of the main trees and shrubs. The blueprints of your final landscape design will be mailed to you. Once I know that you received the final design, I will contact you and guide you through the plan and talk about the different features, plants, installation and maintenance. Of course there will be ample opportunity to ask questions.
  5. Continued support
I realize that during the installation of your landscape plan questions may arise. I encourage you to contact me with all your questions.
