My name is Hetty Versteege and I am the owner and principal designer for Nova Garden Design, LLC. Several years ago, I decided to turn my passion for gardening into a career. I started an apprenticeship with Matrix Gardens, a landscape design and installation company in Boulder, Colorado, USA. This apprenticeship taught me that I have a talent for landscape design. This and the fact that I really enjoy creating beautiful landscapes is why I started Nova Garden Design.

Since our start in 1999 I have served both residential and commercial customers. For the majority of these customers I had the opportunity to provide on-site design services. However, I have also developed several off-site landscape designs for customers who live elsewhere. In these instances, I developed the designs without ever seeing the projects in person. The customers related all the needed information via pictures, phone, fax or e-mail. Our off-site customers say they enjoy their new landscapes and value the service Nova Garden Design provided.

Although there are some differences, we follow the same structured process for on-site and off-site design projects. Regardless of whether we visit you locally or you provide us with the needed information, we design:

• new landscapes and landscapes that need renovation,
• perennial beds,
• patios, decks, and pathways,
• outdoor rooms,
• xeriscapes.

• Comprehensive designs, installation drawings, and plant lists.
• Consultations (on-site customers only).
• Project management (on-site customers only).
